Global aluminium FRP demand

The usage of aluminium Flat Rolled Products (FRP), across the world, increased from 16.4 million tonnes in 2007 to 29.4 million tonnes in 2023 and accounts for 30% of the global aluminium usage of 97.2 million tonnes in that year. The rising emphasis on environmental sustainability and recycling is propelling the demand for aluminium products across various sectors. Advancements in aluminium rolling technologies continue to drive innovation in the production of high-quality aluminium sheets and coils, enabling the material to be used in a wide range of applications across industries such as automotive, aerospace, packaging and construction.
